Our Mission

With the mission || कुणी न राहो दुर्बल अज्ञ | म्हणूनी हा शिक्षण यज्ञ || (education for the weak and educationally deprived class) Kansa Khora Shikshan Prasarak Mandal is established on 16th Aug. 1980. In 2015 it is renamed as Mazi Amdar Shri Babasaheb Patil Sarudkar Shikshan Sanstha, Sarud. Shahuwadi and Pahnala talukas are situated in the Sahyadri Mountain ranges with few acres of cultivating land having its inherent consequence. To educate and enlighten rural community was the need of time. For centuries, people of this region suffered due to poverty superstitions, illiteracy and inadequate transport facilities. To take them out of this darkness was the prime focus which motivated us to establish an educational institute, because education is the only appropriate tool to meet the challenges.

As the head of Shri Shiv-Shahu Mahavidyalaya, situated amidst the Sahyadri mountains, I am deeply honored to lead an institution with such a rich legacy, rooted in the vision of Chatrapati Shivaji and Shahu Maharaj. Our commitment to providing education to the backward and hilly regions has been unwavering, and over the past four decades, we have successfully empowered countless stakeholders through our Career Guidance Cell and conventional degree courses.

As we stand on the threshold of Fourth Industrial Revolution and navigate the challenges presented by the changes in the National Education Policy (NEP) of 2020, it is imperative that we adapt and innovate to ensure our continued success. Our focus must be on establishing ourselves on a firm foundation of commitment to excellence, while honoring the legacy of our predecessors.

Over the years, we have witnessed firsthand the transformative power of education in changing lives and empowering individuals with essential skills. However, as we move forward, we must recognize the need to not only impart knowledge but also equip our students with the skills necessary to thrive in the ever-evolving landscape of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution.

To achieve this, we must adopt innovative and flexible measures that align with the principles outlined in the NEP 2020. This may include restructuring our curriculum to emphasize critical thinking, problem-solving, and digital literacy skills. Additionally, we must provide our students with opportunities for hands-on learning experiences and exposure to emerging technologies.

Furthermore, it is essential that we continue to uphold our commitment to holistic development by encouraging participation in social, cultural, and sports activities. Through initiatives such as NCC, NSS, and sports departments and Women Empowerment Cell (WEC). we can instill moral values and cultivate well-rounded individuals who are not only academically proficient but also socially responsible.

As we prepare to undergo our fourth cycle of NAAC accreditation, we must view this as an opportunity to set new benchmarks for excellence in education, particularly for institutes operating in rural areas. Our goal should be to not only meet but exceed the standards set forth by NAAC, thereby further enhancing our reputation and credibility.

In line with our commitment to embracing technology, I intend to prioritize the upgrade of our computer and information technology infrastructure. This will not only provide a platform for successful interface between technology and stakeholders but also ensure that our students are equipped with the necessary digital skills for success in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

In conclusion, as we embark on this journey of transformation and growth, let us remain steadfast in our dedication to excellence, innovation, and inclusivity. Together, we can uphold the legacy of Shri Shiv-Shahu Mahavidyalaya and continue to empower generations of stakeholders to realize their full potential.
